Reflexology

This ancient therapy is a powerful and deeply relaxing form of pressure massage therapy that works on the reflex points of the feet. The healing powers of reflexology were enjoyed by many ancient cultures including those of China, Japan, India and Egypt. Reflexology gently manipulates pressure points on the feet to stimulate the body’s innate healing mechanisms. By working on the foot alone we can clear blockages within the organs, improve energy flow and bring about balance to all the systems of the body. 

Amongst other things, reflexology is particularly effective for hormonal imbalances (including fertility, menstrual and thyroid issues and menopausal symptoms). It also a recommended treatment for depression and anxiety related disorders, poor circulation, migraines and digestive disorders. 

Regular reflexology is also an excellent form of preventative healthcare.

Your first session will start with a detailed consultation that will enable your therapist to adapt the treatment to your individual needs.

Carrie Rossiter

Carrie has been working as a reflexologist for over 20 years. She finds it an invaluable therapy for treating hormonal imbalances, anxiety, depression and digestive dysfunctions. She likes to work very intuitively and will treat you on all levels - mind, body and soul. Carrie is also qualified in Reiki, lymphatic drainage, Marma massage and holistic massage and may integrate some of these skills into your session if needed.

Nicola Tew

Nicola has lived in Faringdon since 2003. She began the journey of holistic practices back in 2013 when she completed her British wheel of Yoga foundation course, 'A journey through the chakras'.

Over the last three years, Nicky has also qualified in Reiki, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and Holistic Massage, and is thriving member of the Lotus Retreat team.
